During the workshop the work format changes from teacher-pupil interaction through own investigations to group discussions.
The workshop starts with a presentation of an on-the-spot report from a videotape and the introduction by a guide. The succeeding personal hands-on activities at the workstations comprises investigations into the following items: fingerprints, shoeprint, blood, drugs, hair, soil, fibres, dental crown, bulbs, paint chips, notepad, glass, brake marks and an eyewitness report.
At the end, the participants collect the results of their investigations and try to identify the guilty out of four suspects.
