The presentation technique uses a fluorescent lamp radiating UV light on a fluorescent landscape. When Ozone is injected above this landscape, the fluorescence of the landscape will decrease in the areas where the Ozone will absorb the UV light. To the visitor it seems as if live darker clouds are slowly drifting above the landscape.
The landscape is illuminated with UV light and a sign on a small model factory on the surface is flashing: "UV-alarm". When the visitor press the "Ozone" button, the Ozone generator is activated and real Ozone is injected above the surface. Shortly after this Ozone is seen as a dark cloud drifting about the landscape and the UV warning stops flashing.
The view box is airtight and the Ozone injected is removed in about 10 seconds by means of a pump and a special filter so the experiment can start over again.
